My Fur Babies (and feathers too)

Maverick, our latest rescue dog from Reno Humane Center.
Love dog that has some chow in him from the black tongue.

Nikki, actually La Femme Nikkita (the puppy with an attitude), purebred Samoyed with papers - pet quality because of a bent ear.
Supreme Princess and ruler of the household ... true ... just ask her.
We got her from her breeder.

Nikki took over from day one.  She had no fear of bigger dogs and we wouldn't let Pepper be to rough with her, so she would run underneath him and pull his tail.

Pepper, our first rescue dog from the Reno animal shelter.  Akita- Chow cross and all black.

Venture, actually Mr. Adventure, one of our outdoor cats.  He and his sister were born on our property.  We had 3 litters of kittens born on our property one year and we didn't own a cat!  Chris talked us into keeping two.  The mother was a great mouser, so we agreed.  The rest went to the SPCA, when the mother disappeared.  Venture ruled the property for 10 years.

Sase, actually Dogi Sasemase Koma, purebred Akita papers and all.
Her breeders couldn't keep her, because they had too many dogs without a kennel license.
Sop we took the show dog and turned her into a pet.

Jason, our blue and gold macaw
He was hand raised, we bought him from his first owner who was getting a divorce.
Not a dog, but definitely an attitude.

We had Norwegian Blue Ducks for awhile too.  They were fabulous at getting rid of bugs and a mole!!

Misty, gray and black purebred German Shepherd.
I bought her myself when I was in High School.  She used to go to college with me and protect the car (covered parking garage of course).

Misty was almost as big as Fritz when we got her as a puppy.

Fritz was the family dog of my youth.  He looked like a German Shepherd puppy, but never got much bigger than a Beagle.
Pure bred mutt.  We got him from my Aunt's neighbor.
